Low Frequency Magnetic Field Probes (9kHz-50MHz)
The HNFP series of near-field probes cover the 9KHz to 3GHz frequency range and can be used to build cost-effective EMI troubleshooting solutions to solve a wide range of EMI problems. It consists of seven probes dedicated to testing magnetic fields (H) and two high frequency probes dedicated to testing electric fields (E). The magnetic field probes contain special electrically isolated probe heads with different head shapes to suit different scenarios of near-field measurement tasks. All near-field probes are passive, and the probes are connected directly to a spectrometer or oscilloscope via a 50 Ω cable for real-time magnetic field testing and analysis. When the interference signal is weak, with our (30dB gain) pre-RF amplifier (HNFPA-1) can improve the system test sensitivity. Help engineers to identify and solve potential EMI/EMC problems before the product is sent out for conformance testing.
  • HNFP series of high-frequency magnetic field probe set contains four specifically designed to test the high-frequency magnetic field (H) probe, which is effectively shielded from electric field interference (E);
  • HNFP series of low-frequency magnetic field probe set contains three specifically designed to test the low-frequency magnetic field (H) probe, which is effectively shielded from electric field interference (E);
  • HNFP series of high-frequency electric field probe set contains two specifically designed to test the high-frequency of the electric field (E) probes, which are near-field probes mainly applied to find the source of E-field interference;
  • High-frequency magnetic field probes frequency range: 30MHz-3GHz; Low-frequency magnetic field probes frequency range: 9kHz-50MHz;
  • High-frequency E-field probes frequency range: 30MHz-3GHz;
  • HNFPA-1 preamplifiers frequency range: 9kHz-3GHz, with a gain of approx. 30dB;
  • All near-field All near-field probes are passive and can be plugged into the input port of an oscilloscope, receiver or spectrum analyzer;
  • Large loops are more sensitive but have lower spatial resolution, while small loops are less sensitive but make it easier to narrow down the location of the source;
  • Magnetic-field probes contain special electrically isolated probe heads, with different head shapes to suit different near-field measurement tasks;
  • ll near-field probes are easy to use and help engineers to find electromagnetic compatibility problems quickly and effectively, making them ideal tools for testing electromagnetic fields.

Measurement connections

Connection to the device under test
The HNFP series near-field probes are used for non-contact measurements in close proximity to the device under test. When measuring, please pay attention to the direction of placement of the near-field probe.
